What are the services like?
The 8:30 service at Woodbury is a traditional United Methodist services for those who connect to God through hymns and liturgy. The 9:30 service at Peaceful Grove has a blend of traditional and contemporary worship elements. The 10:00 Woodbury service has a more casual atmosphere and all the music is provided by the Wings praise band. During the summer, the 10:00 service at Woodbury is held outdoors in the grove and the Peaceful Grove campus worships outside once a month. The sermon at both Woodbury services is the same. One of our pastors preaches at Woodbury and another pastor preaches at Peaceful Grove. Both campuses follow the same worship theme and sermon series.
Will I have to say anything, sign anything or be singled out?
Rest assured that you won't be put on the spot, singled-out, or embarrassed. We do like to collect some basic information from people in our friendship notebooks, but if you'd prefer not to sign in, that's all right with us. Our hope is that you will be greeted by one of our regular attenders so that you can begin to get to know us.
