- Pick a Sunday morning service (Note: Our summer schedule as listed below runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day)
Traditional Service – hymns and liturgy
8:30 a.m. at Woodbury
Blended Service – a mixture of traditional and contemporary elements
9:30 a.m. at Peaceful Grove
Beginning June 13, this service will held outdoors once a month
Contemporary Service – led by the Wings praise band
10:00 a.m. at Woodbury
Beginning June 13, this service will be held outdoors each week
- What to Wear
Feel free to wear whatever clothes make you feel most comfortable. Some people at WPGUMC dress up for church and some come in very casual dress. We care more that you’re here than what you wear. - As you Enter (Indoor Services)
As you enter the Worship Center or Sanctuary, our ushers will welcome you and hand you a worship program. Children are welcome and encouraged to attend worship with their parents. Activity bags for children are located on a shelf in the Woodbury Campus Commons and from an usher at the Peaceful Grove Campus.
At the Woodbury Campus, large print bulletins are available at the 8:30 service. An usher can also help you with an assistive hearing device or a large print hymnal if you need one. - As You Enter (Outdoor Services)
Outdoor services are held in the grove at each campus. Seating is provided or you can bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. Ushers are there to greet you and hand you a worship program. Our outdoor services are casual and very family-friendly! - Nursery Care for Children
A staffed nursery is available during all services for children age 2 and younger. The nursery is located off of the Commons area at the Woodbury Campus and off of the Fellowship Hall at the Peaceful Grove Campus. - If you have Children/Youth
Click on Childen’s & Family Ministries or Youth Ministries for more information about the exciting programs and activities for your kids. Our regular Creation Station children’s ministry (age 2 – 5th grade) does not meet during the summer, but we have special Sunday morning activities for preschoolers. The Sunday prechool activities take place at 8:30 at the Woodbury Campus. At the Peaceful Grove campus, children go to worship with their parents and stay through the children’s sermon, then leave for their activities. - Welcome Notebooks
Please sign the fellowship notebook located in the pews and pass it along to your neighbors. Signing the book is completely optional but will allow us to know you have visited with us and allow you to request more information about Woodbury/Peaceful Grove United Methodist Church. It is also a way to get to know the names of the people seated next to you. - After a Service
Woodbury Campus
Drop by the Just Café for coffee, juice, a sweet treat, and some good conversation. The Just Café is located in the Plaza area of the Nicholas Education Wing and is open after the 8:30 service.
Peaceful Grove Campus
Enjoy coffee and conversation in the Fellowship Hall located outside of the Sanctuary.
