Hospitality Ministry
- Ushers and Greeters
Our ushers and greeters are an important part of our hospitality ministry on Sunday mornings. Greeters welcome people as they enter the church building and help newcomers by answering questions and giving directions to various areas of the building. Ushers assist in the worship services by greeting people as they enter the Worship Center, distributing the worship bulletins, and helping collect the morning offering. Worship services are at 8:30, 10:00, and 11:15 am at Woodbury and at 9:30 am at Peaceful Grove. Ushers usually work at one service per month. You can pick the worship time you prefer. The Just Cafe is our Sunday morning spot for coffee, treats, and conversation at the Woodbury Campus. It has become so popular that an expanded team of volunteers is needed to help set up, serve, and clean up. Help make the Just Cafe a comfortable place for our guests and members to gather. No previous coffee shop experience necessary! If you can help, contact Jeanette Behr or stop by the Cafe on a Sunday morning.

Office Volunteers
Help is needed in the main office with a variety of tasks including preparing mailings, answering the phone, and working on the Sunday bulletin and monthly newsletter. If you can help in this area, contact Maria Rella.
Building Maintenance
Our building is large, and we need ongoing help with a variety of maintenance tasks for all skill levels. Tasks range from changing lightbulbs to painting and plumbing. If you would like to help contact Maria Rella.
Adopt a Garden at the Woodbury Campus
The south gardens at the Woodbury Campus are in need of some TLC. We are looking for people to “adopt a garden” and tend to its basic care - weeding, trimming, and deadheading. Look for the signs in the gardens showing what areas need adopting. If you are interested, signup sheets are in the Woodbury Campus Plaza. Cross Stitchers
WPGUMC needs people to cross-stitch banners for baptisms. This is light, easy stitching, and the banners are a gift to the baptism families. For information, contact Linda Nelson 651-739-0125.
Red Cross Blood Drive
WPGUMC is the host site for the Red Cross blood drive every other month. Volunteers are needed to check in the donors and help with refreshements. Contact Robin Beckman to be a part of this ministry.
