Creation Station
Woodbury/Peaceful Grove UMC provides lots of ways for children to make friends and grow in their faith. Kids age 2 through 5th grade can be a part of Creation Station where they learn about God’s love and how to share it with others. Creation Station meets on Sunday mornings at both campuses and on Wednesday evenings at Woodbury. The program is children’s ministry designed with children in mind. It’s a place where learning about God’s love is fun, relational, and Bible-based! Kids experience large-group teaching and small-group relationships. They learn to feel safe and cared for by leaders and friends, which will enable them to live their faith throughout the week.
September is "Sock it to Me" Month at Creation Station
Creation Station children will learn about the opportunity to give to those in need by bringing in donations of new socks in all sizes. The socks and September offering money will go the God's Closet, the free clothing store operated by Epworth UMC and Woodbury/Peaceful Grove UMC.
Everyone who participates in Creation Station is asked to register so that groups can be formed and enough leaders can be recruited. You can register online or paper forms can be found at both campuses. You can also print a form here and bring or mail it to the church. Creation Station hours for ages 2 years through 5th grade on Sunday at Woodbury are 8:30 & 10:00 or Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm for elementary age. Woodbury also offers Alleluia Station on Sundays at 11:15 (see info below). At Peaceful Grove, Creation Station takes place for all ages at 9:30 am on Sundays.

3rd graders and their families will come to learn about the Bible, what stories it holds, and how to find information and spiritual guidance from it.
Weekday Programs
The Weekday Preschool Programs on Steepleview are well-known in our community for their quality preschool and Parents’ Day out programs. They fill the building with joyful activity every day of the week!
Children's Choirs
Music is important at our church, and two children’s choirs sing during the school year.
Baptism at WPGUMC
Baptism is a very important event in the life of a child and his/her family. When we are baptized, we take on our identity as a child of God and a member of the Christian church.
