Our mission is...to reach out to others for Jesus Christ, making disciples through welcoming, inviting, nurturing, growing, and serving in God's name. Outdoor Worship Starts on May 25! During the summer, the 10:45 am worship service will be held outdoors in the Grove east of the building. This is an opportunity to worship God in a beautiful setting. Chairs are provided or you can bring a blanket to sit on. We invite everyone to be a part of this summer tradition at WUMC.
May Sermon Series - "Passages" Summer Camps at WUMC - Summer Adventures 2008 at WUMC will offer camps for kids of every age, ability, and interest. Check out the Summer Camps Brochure for more information and print a registration form if you need one. An Opportunity to Help Others This Month - WUMC is working through the national United Methodist Church to participate in two important projects that will help others. We are collecting Health Kits to send to people who have suffered in a natural disaster or some other crisis. We are also showing support for US troops who are away from home through our prayers and by collecting money to purchase pre-paid phone cards for them. More information on these projects can be found in The Beacon, the newsletter of our Ministries of Compassion and Justice. Prayer Requests - WUMC has an active and devoted prayer chain.
